Meet The Masters: Tiffany Liong
Tiffany Liong Station Manager 98.7 DZFE-FM, Metro Manila Far East Broadcasting Company, Philippines
Tiffany Liong is station manager of 98.7 DZFE-FM “The Master’s Touch” in Metro Manila, the longest running and currently only classical music format radio station in the Philippines, and one of several non-commercial services of the Evangelical radio network Far East Broad-casting Company Philippines.
Liong became a producer, writer and presenter for the station in 1998. She oversaw programming for the station from 2000 and was entrusted with the overall management of the station in 2004.
The first five years of her leadership have seen a successful rehabilitation of the station, with a full re-expansion of broadcast hours, an influx of partnerships with both local and foreign program suppliers, the relocation of the station’s transmitting site and the inauguration of a new transmitter. She has been profiled in broad sheet and magazine articles, representing the station’s joint advocacy for biblical spirituality and fine music, as part of a broad cultural concern. Liong is still actively involved in producing and presenting programs.
Liong received an MBA in Bilical Stewardship and Christian Management, with distinction, from the Asian Theological Seminary in 2009; her AB degree in Communication, with honor, and the Departmental Award of the Department of Communication, from Ateneo de Manila University in 1998.
